Greetings in the Matchless, Powerful Name Of Our King and LORD, Jesus Christ!
6 Aug 08

The POA presented a powerful message by Sis Vesta Mangun at our Wed night mid-week service - as her DVD message on "God's Thirsting Love For All Humanity" was aired and watched by our members and visitors, a young Philipina woman Eunice, realized the need to fully give herself to Jesus and to be baptised into His name! It was a powerful message reminding Christians, to be soul winners. Eunice who has been coming to church services these past few months at the POA (along with other Philipina ladies). She heard about the "death, burial and resurrection" message from the first day she walked into our fellowship. Last night, with tears in her eyes, Eunice declared, "I am ready to be baptised..." Hallelujah! What an on time God we serve! Despite the cold, cold waters, Eunice was not going to be hindered in any way. She knew, this was something that was needed for her own personal growth. The Scriptures, speaks about the remission of sins through immersion in Jesus' name (Acts 2:38; 8:12-14; 10:48; 19:5; 22;16; Rom 6:3; Gal 3:27; Col 2:11-12) and it is required for all to obey His command.
At the POA, there has been a deep call to prayer for the last few months. The harvest we are experiencing is the direct result of the focused prayer of the saints. We are living in the last of the last days and there is an urgent call to pray. When the church begins to connect with God in a more intimate manner, we will know His heartbeat. We will know 'His thirsting love for all humanity'. We rejoice with our new sister-in-Christ.
Thank you for the prayer support for the work here in Auckland. We have but a short time and we need your continued support for the work of God here. So let's reach the nations for Jesus Christ.
To God be the Glory,
Pst. Marshall
