Life isn't the Pits

Good morning! I hope your week has gone well.
Someone said, "If life is like a bowl of cherries how come I am always in the pits?"
"The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law. All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me."
Ps 119:85-86
I have found myself ensnared when I followed after my headstrong ways rather than following the Word of God. I can always trust God's Word. I cannot always trust my feelings or thinking, it will trap me. Life doesn't have to be the pits if I trust in His Word.
