Good morning! It is the last day of 2008, how have you benefited from this year.
I was wondering, how many of us look upon affliction as being good? The Psalmist did...
"It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver." Ps 119:71-72
What
do we do with those bad things that happen, failures, hurts, sorrows? Do they drive us from God, or do they turn us toward God and His Word? Is our pain in vain? Does it help us to develop a better relationship with Jesus Christ? Do we look back and say, Your Word is worth more to me than all the riches in the world? Affliction can be good!
Just a thought! God Bless!
