The Lord pulled me out of a terrible pit when I was 26 years old. I fell at an apostolic alter and received the holy ghost. My life has never been the same since I took on the name of Jesus in the waters of baptism. I came from a horrible background of abuse and never thought I would find true peace. I will love Him until the end of time. When I think of all the people in the world and know that Christ picked me I am overwhelmed by His mercy and love. I can never repay what He did for me.

The Reflection

The word of God is a mirror. It will tell us who we are if we let it. Just like the woman at the well, the Lord can only help us if we are truthful. I believe when we show God who we really are then He can show Himself to us. Thank God, He didn't leave us the way that He found us.

The Talents

God gives all of us talents. We need to remember who the creator is. Everything He does is beautiful. It truly is time to use our talents and do a work for the kingdom of god.

The Storm

God never said it wouldn't be hard, but He promised He would be with us. I think I may have felt closest to God during my hardest times in life. That is why storms sometimes feel bitter-sweet.

STONES

A poem about my feelings and my situations that I have gone through. It is about the spirits in a man that cannot be conquered until he leaves it at the cross.
