Your Choices Make You

Saul was chosen by God to be king. Saul was humble, strong, annointed.

Saul let the power go to his head. He made to many wrong choices that benefited him. His fleshly desires became priority before God in his life. His story ends with God rejecting him and he dies on his own sword.

Be careful the choices you make. If you have no joy in your life, no happiness. If you seem to struggle with temptations and addictions. If your not happy in your current state of life. Remember the choices you made have brought you ro where you are. Your choices make your future!!

Victory against tempation does not have to come by fighting. The Bible says submit yourself therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee. All you have to do to win is just say no to the things that try to take you down. So really victory is obtained by making a choice between who you want to control your life. God or the enemy..?

What do you choose? Freedom, Joy, Happiness, Peace, and the Power of the Holy Ghost? or do you choose to try and live this life on your own and face the trouble and pains of this sinful world alone?

Don't blame anyone else for what you become. The choices you make decide who you become.

What is your choice?
As for me and my house, we will serve the lord! In his prescence is fullness of joy!

STAND OUT!

Ezekiel 22:26"Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them."

Young people we must stand out in this dark world!! As I read this scripture I begin to think about how many times we begin to slack up in our spiritual life(prayer, worship, study) and begin letting in things of the world that we have no business allowing into our lives.
We go to church and pray/shout/worship. Then we drive home and flip the radio on listening to music filled with immoral lyrics, cussing, sexual content, etc...How can we claim to be separated from this world and set apart, and yet still take pleasure in small ways of its sin? We must define the difference between clean and unclean, Holy and UnHoly with our lives!!

How can we tell others their religion is wrong and what we have is truth... but yet we blur the lines between right and wrong with some of our actions and the things allowed in our lives? (music was merely one small example)
The biggest cause of atheism today is people who claim Jesus with their lips but deny him with their lifestyle!
Young people we need to be wary of those who influence us, make sure we have Godly fellowship! We need to be careful how we dress/act/talk. We must be careful of the things we do, or the things we take part in.
If we are to be a light in this generation we must do as the scripture hath said and "Come out from among them and touch not the unclean thing" "Be ye separate saith the Lord" "Shun the appearance of evil"

We can't praise sing one week, and be hanging with friends and jamming to 50cent next week!! We cant testify this week and sit down this week to watch things from hollywood that we should not be watching!! What fellowship hath light with dark? We cant live how we want and just expect God to accept it! God ain't going to have it!!

When did homosexuality become okay? When did fornication and adultery become okay? When did this immorality become "the right" and those who oppose it become "the wrong?" God said its still sin, and no sin shall have a place in heaven.(I Corinthians 6:9-10)(Romans 1:29-32) You cannot take part in these things and still go to heaven! We can't be smoking pot on saturday and expect the anointing of God on us when we get up to praise sing sunday! God does not/will not accept a cursed sacrifice(example: Cain in the old testement)

Take a stand young people! STAND for truth!! STAND for Holiness! Acts 2:38 is the only way to salvation! There is only ONE GOD! We must be Holy and live Holy!!
Young people, more then ever in these last day we need to be example of who God is! Tim 4:12Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
WE must be and example of the believers!! We can't reach our world by word alone.. but we must be a living sacrifice!!Young People lets STAND OUT...!!! TAke a STAND for what we believe in!! Stand for truth!! No Compromise!! Lets be WORLD CHANGERS!

Who is your strong man?

I was reading the other day and came upon this scripture Mar 3:27 - No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

And after I read it I began to think about the scripture in John 14:17 where he said I am with you but I shall be in you.
Before getting the Holy Ghost and before we begin to live for God, we are trying to fight and survive in this world on our own. We are the strong man of our life(a weak one) and while we remain the strong man, it is nothing for life to get us down and for satan to come in and "spoil our goods" so to speak. But when we get the Holy Ghost, and receive his power (Acts 1:8) Jesus becomes the strong man in our lives.

This world and satan have no dominion, no authority, no power against him. When Jesus is the strong man we can't be defeated and failure is not a possibility! Because greater is he that is within me, then he that is within the world!! WE cant fight this on our own, we cant make it out of here alive on our own, we can't keep our head up in the midst of struggles and storms on our own! But with Jesus we are more then conquerers!!

I think i'll make Jesus my strongman and stop trying to run my life on my own. We cant see ahead, we don't how to run our lives, but when Jesus becomes our strongman the Bible says he is the author and the finisher of our faith. If we let him write our life, we know the ending will come out right. There may be some struggles in between the beginning and the end of our life story, but I don't have to fear for he is with me!

I'm not going to live this life by my sight and my views and thoughts on what is currently happening right now, but I'm putting Jesus as my strong man and walking by faith that if he brought me to it, he can bring me through it. "Upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail" I'm going to build my house within the church thats built on the rock. That will make Jesus the strongman of my house, and the gates of hell shall not prevail!!

WHO IS YOUR STRONGMAN?!?!?
