Women are very prone to fear, we oftentimes feel inadequate, we stay home we raise our children we take care of our homes what does that really amount to? I have struggled with these feelings on and off. Then one day God showed me something, these are the feelings the devil uses against women! Because when we feel inadequate we begin to fear and then we don’t fulfill God’s plans in our lives. You know what though? We are raising the next generation and taking care of those we love! Fear is a very powerful thing, I was a witness in a trial for a friend, and while I was out waiting to go into the courtroom, suddenly fear took over me and my neck went stiff and I couldn’t move it! Fear crippled my neck, because of some of the circumstances surrounding the trial put fear in me. I recently read a story about a minister he said when he was a young boy he took a job in a village away from his home, he would work there all week then walk home for the weekends, but on his walk home he would have to pass through a ravine that everyone said was full of evil spirits, so all week he would fear the walk home. At the end of the week while he was walking through the ravine he heard his dad’s voice calling out to him telling him he was there to walk through the ravine with him, that is how God is, He will walk through everything with us, The Bible tells us when we walk through the valley of death He will be with us… Fear stops us from answering the call of ministry, I remember the first time God told me to give someone a message, I was so afraid, I almost did not go to that person, but after talking to my husband I went to her and told her what God wanted her to hear and she received the blessing she needed that night, but if I would have stayed in fear she would have been cheated out of her blessing! Fear is the thing that will stop us, but only if we let it! God doesn’t make fun of us or hold our fears against us, He understands and will walk through them with us! He meets us in our fears and when with His help we overcome them that is when He will use fear to help us in our ministry, because the only thing we will fear is the Lord! Remember, when we are free we won’t fear! I love y’all…
