'Our Hearts Desire''

When the angel Gabriel first appeared to Mary, he didn't explain the plan of God for her life.’’ And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women'' ( Luke 1:28 KJV) The definition for favored is: Endowed with special gifts, talents, or advantages. (American Heritage) Mary was very fearful and troubled; she waited for the angel Gabriel to explain more to her. Mary had been chosen to give birth to Jesus. Mary questioned

(Luke 1:34 KJV) Mary accepted the assignment and she was truly honored by God to be Jesus' mother. In the bible it says many are called but few are chosen. God wants all to serve him. As Mary was chosen by God to play a special role in life so are we called to fulfill our role in life. Let's open our hearts and be obedient to His will. ''And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose'' (Romans 8:28 KJV) All we do for the Lord will matter; we all have to want to reach all we can while we are here. Our words can be a motivator, whether we realize it or not, whether you mean to or not. Our words can bring life, or it can cause someone to take their own life. While we all still alive, let’s make our days count for something!- Lynne Conley My life consists of working full-time at a pharmaceutical company and teaching Sunday school (Kindergarten class) My desire is to encourage others. My writings aren’t fancy words, but they are from the Lord. So many people are hurting, and I want to help all I can while I am still alive. My passion is elderly people and those who are shut-ins. There is a nursing home, Carrington Place, in the next county from where I live. After working 8-10 hrs a day, I go and spend time with those who have no one or just to talk and hear their stories every Thursday after work. Every Thursday is Thankful Thursday to me. Because I am so Thankful for this great calling the Lord has given me.
