Our words can be a motivator, whether we realize it or not, whether you mean to or not. Our words can bring life, or it can cause someone to take their own life. While we all still alive, let’s make our days count for something!- Lynne Conley
My life consists of working full-time at a pharmaceutical company and teaching Sunday school (Kindergarten class) My desire is to encourage others. My writings aren’t fancy words, but they are from the Lord. So many people are hurting, and I want to help all I can while I am still alive. My passion is elderly people and those who are shut-ins. There is a nursing home, Carrington Place, in the next county from where I live. After working 8-10 hrs a day, I go and spend time with those who have no one or just to talk and hear their stories every Thursday after work. Every Thursday is Thankful Thursday to me. Because I am so Thankful for this great calling the Lord has given me. Have
you ever thought to yourself that
life isn't fair? Life just stinks
sometimes; however, we all are familiar
with the fact that life
is all about sowing and reaping. What
we sow, we will also reap. What we all know is that we
can never conceal our secret sins.
One day when we least expect it, they
will be manifested. The Word of God teaches
that we can never hide, and what
is done in secret will be manifested.
‘’ For there
is nothing covered, that shall not be
revealed; neither hid, that shall not be
known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken
in darkness shall be heard in the
light; and that which ye have
spoken in the ear in closets
shall be proclaimed upon the housetops’’
(Luke 12 : 2-3 KJV). One day when
we least expect it, it will show
up. We have to make sure we
make things right with old adversaries or
at least try to talk it out with them. If
it doesn't work out, the Lord sees all
things and knows all things. We can’t dwell
on negative thoughts all the time. The results
of negative thoughts are so harmful to our spiritual walk; this
one thing I will guarantee you.
We shouldn’t entangle ourselves in so many things that we
have no time for the Lord. We have to make time
for the Lord in our lives. I view serving the Lord
an honor and a privilege. I don’t want
to leave the Lord out of my
life. I ask the Lord’s guidance over
the simplest things to make sure I
have His approval.
It may be foreign to others,
but it’s the Lord’s approval that I seek. I am personally
making an effort to please the Lord each and every moment.
All that we do for the Lord will matter. Stay
encouraged. I am so blessed to have
you all as my friends. I am
here to lend a helping hand to
each and every one of you all. You
and your families are in my thoughts
and prayers each day.
