Killer Biscuits

I Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
2 Tim 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Have you heard the saying that truth is stranger than fiction? Here is a true story that was reported by a California newspaper about a lady named Linda who was visiting her in-laws in San Diego, CA, and while there, she went to a nearby supermarket to pick up some groceries.
Several people noticed her sitting in her car with the windows rolled up and with her eyes closed, with both hands behind the back of her head.
One customer who had been at the store for a while became concerned and walked over to the car. He noticed that Linda's eyes were now open, and she looked very strange. He asked her if she was okay, and Linda replied that she'd been shot in the back of the head, and had been holding her brains in for over an hour.
The man called the paramedics, who broke into the car because the doors were locked and Linda refused to remove her hands from her head.
When they finally got in, they found that Linda had a wad of bread stuck to the back of her head. A Pillsbury biscuit canister had exploded from the heat, making a loud noise that sounded like a gunshot, and the wad of dough hit her in the back of her head. When she reached back to find out what it was, she felt the dough and thought it was her brains.
She said she had initially passed out, but quickly recovered and tried to hold her brains in for over an hour until someone noticed and came to her aid.
satan wants to shackle us with fear. Fear of what lies ahead. If he can cause us to fear, he can discourage and even paralyze us.
But there is a strength that delivers us from fear. It does not come from within us but it comes from above us. It is the reassurance of the Lord of the universe: “Fear not.” Only He can truly dispel fear. If God is for us, who can be against us?
Our world today is full of fearful, fleeing people. They are running from catastrophic, challenging situations,
Prov 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Remember that the next time that fear tries to paralyze you. Don’t let yourself become a victim of an attack from killer biscuits.
