“And as He prayed He was transfigured.” I am not surprised at that. Even among men we have seen the ministry of transfiguration, even though it is in infinitely smaller degree. You remember that Moses had been so opened out to God, and so possessed by the Divine light, that when he came down from the mount his face shone with mystic radiance.

After one has been “born of the water and the spirit,” God with loving and careful hands begins to remold, remake, and refine our vessel to make it what it ought to be for His glory.

Jesus finished His work of redemption when He died on the cross.

( If there is anything we should know for a fact, it is that there are no coincidences in life, life has a purpose, we each have a destiny, and what God has decreed will take place, and your deliverance is his promise!

God has given us life. Our life is like a farm or parcel of ground deeded to us for life. God has given each of us, let’s say 1000 acres. It’s up to each individual to work and develop his ground. The ground and the production thereof is what you make of it.

It is impossible to comprehend eternity. It’s been defined as three stages of time: everything before Creation, everything that has taken place or will take place from Creation until the end of the world, and everything that will take place after the end of the world. It stretches back further than the human mind can reach, it stretches ahead further that the human mind can imagine.

The Book of Acts is the story of the men and women who began to fulfill that commission and began to spread the news of a risen Savior to the most remote corners of the known world. In Acts we see the Church change in one generation from a Jewish church to almost a totally Gentile Church.
